Aren't all lifts pretty much the same?
While all lifts will lift your boat, as in any product, there are
also features, safety factors and other considerations that give
you the full picture of what you are purchasing for your investment.
It is prudent to research the products before deciding your purchase.
The components differ in size (top beams, bottom beams, cables,
bolts, bunks and the power systems vary greatly).
The most obvious choice difference begins with choosing between
a galvanized or an aluminum lift. The galvanized lifts generally have a
one year warranty. When the beams and components rust it is very difficult
to disassemble them for repairs. Once the lift rusts extensively,
it is impractical to repair.
All ABL lifts are constructed from marine grade aluminum and have a
10 year structural warranty.
