John Meehan has over 30 years experience in marine construction, and more than half of those lifting boats.

He installed the very first 4 poster lift on the west coast of Florida. He has owned and operated the same company since its inception; only a very few of today's companies can make this claim. John's design and engineering intent was to produce products that were easy to install, safe, esthetic, and soundly engineered.

ABL lifts were the first to conceal the drive pipe, use all stainless steel hardware, and implement our signature feature a "No Weld" design. Unique to ABL Boat Lifts is our vertical lifts that are upgradeable. The 4,500# tops can be upgraded to accommodate up to 13,000 pound. Throughout the years John's modifications and design improvements have been used by nearly every other lift company.

ABL boat lifts have been sold all over the US, Canada, South America, England, Sweden, Newfoundland, Norway, and Saudi Arabia. We value our customers, our company is about you!
